A Rose From Nature

Completed as part of my Bachelor degree, this project was created to explore self-identity through the permanence of tattoos. Inside this book is a series of floral ink illustrations, designed around the four classical elements; Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. These elements form the base of the world surrounding us, and often an individual can feel a strong connection to one or more of them. When deciding to tattoo the body, one may choose a symbol they feel represents them; creating a permanent note of their identity at that time.
